So, we went away - and WHERE did we go?  Gosh - everywhere.... and WHAT did we do?  man, we did lots.  But, what is important is HOW we felt.

  The below professional chart depicts the psycology of Donkey, Fishbait, and Landho...   

As the chart clearly represents the turmoil of Fish and Donk as they lamented away in Houston until 2007 their joy is enhanced when they trotted off to L.A.    Landho, on the other hand - calm and cool as always - was on plane all the time, with a boost in 2006 with the birth of his daughter.   Though it could not be represented due to professional chart designers utility, there was a signifigant boost to Landho in early 2008 when he got to go visit Donk and Fish in L.A.

Moments later he had lit the beach with Yankee votif candles and arranged flowers, then seen snuggling up to a fair-skinned cow.

So, here we are in the middle of February and it looks like we have about a month of snowboarding left. We were lucky enough to have our very own Landho with us last month to celebrate his birthday.

I must say; LA really kicks Houston’s ass. There are not very many places where you can be snowboarding on Saturday and surfing on Sunday. Heck, even the same day if you’re one of those young whippier snappers with too much energy…

I’ve been in LA for about 2 years and have settled in a little beach town called Manhattan Beach. Fishbait moved out here about 6 months ago and is just a few streets over. We both have an ocean view from our pads.

All types of beach dwellers are strolling about. I never knew I would enjoy my 30’s so much. There was a time when I figured my prime days were long gone and everything was downhill from there... Quit refreshing to find myself awakened...

Don’t get my wrong, I’ll never forget my Texas roots, but I have just one thing left to say.
